Zend_Db_Table_Abstract::insert() does not return value

Since I wasn't sure if this is a bug or just due to incomplete implementation I did not want to open an issue, so I hope opening a discussion is just as fine.

When creating a row using Zend_Db_Table_Abstract::insert($data) the returned primary key-value is always "0", although it was successfully created. When using a similiar mysql-database (and thus pdo_mysql), instead of sqlsrv (alpha-0.2) it works just fine, so I assume it is a problem with sqlsrv.

update: Using the recent revision (18899) it works just fine.

Thanks for testing. It was fixed in 18252 and should be working fine.

Please write my if you have any issues with it, because it's still very fresh implementation (sql server works quite different than for example mssql).
